Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajendra presented First ever Budget for Telangana state 2014. Etala on Wednesday presented Rs 1,00,637.96 Crore budget for the Telangana State for 10 months of the financial year 2014-15.Speaker Madhusudhana Chari has adjourned the assembly sessions till Friday after the finance minister finished his budget speeech

As usual opposition partied expressed their dissatisfaction on the maiden budget and .The Congress, BJP and the TDP has said that the budgetary proposals did not address the core issues like the farmers suicides and the power crisis.

Congress leaders said that there was no mention of how the government is tackling the farmers suicides and there are no proposals for tackling power crisis.

BJP leader Laxman said that budget proposal runs counter to the election promises given by the TRS.He said that Etela presentation is nothing but jugglery of numbers and the budget was not properly planned.

Rs 100 crore allocated for Godavari pushkarams.

Rs 60 crore allocated for Tourism development.

Rs 10956 crore has been allocated for improving the education in a phased manner,

Rs 2282 crore allocated for medical and health sector.

Medical university to be set up at Warangal.

24 hours power in Telanagana after 3 years

Rs 400 crore for market price stabilisation

20000 MegaWatts power generation in next 5 years

Rs 25,000 crore for free education from KG to PG Telangana Budget

Government will Buy 1000 new buses to RTC

Rs 1.05 crore each for development of constituencies

10 cr for women's safety in Hyderabad

Telangana Kala Bhavan in 11 acres in Indira Park.

Massive plans to develop Yadagiri Gutta. Rs 100 crore allocated for temple area development.

Transport tax waiver on Auto rickshaws and auto trolleys: Rs.5687 crores;

T-Lawyers welfare: Rs.100 crores;

Women and Child welfare: Rs.221 crores; BC Welfare: Rs.2022 crores; MinoritiesÂ’ welfare: Rs.1030 crores; ST sub Plan: Rs.4559 crores;
