What Is So Special About This Union Minister?

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale is a unique minister in the Modi Cabinet. He is he only member of the party and he is the only MP in the whole lok sabha to have his party named after him. His party is Republical Party of India (Athawale) . Now another unique record has come his way.
He is the only non-BJP member of the Union Cabinet dominated by the BJP, which has a road-roller majority in the Lok Sabha. When it started, Modi 2.0 had four members from other NDA partners. The first to resign is Arvind Sawant of the Shiv Sena. He left the NDA when his party formed government in Maharashtra with the help of the Congress and the NCP.
The next to go was Harsimrat Kaur Badal of the Siromani Akali Dal. She left the cabinet over the farm bills that the BJP government had brought. First she resigned from the Cabinet and next, her party walked out of the NDA. The third to go was Lok Jan Shakthi's Ram Vilas Paswan, who passed away recently after prolonged illness at the age of 74.
That leaves only Athawale in the Modi cabinet. He is the only non-BJP member in the Modi cabinet. As of now, it looks he will complete the term. Unless some other party like either the YSRCP or AIADMK joins the NDA, it will be very lonely for him.
