What Post Will Kavitha Get In T Government?
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Oct 2020 3:40 AM GMTNow that her election is a mere formality, the supporters of former TRS MP and KCR's daughter Kalwakuntla Kavitha are hoping that she would be given a key assignment in the TRS government. They feel that since most of KCR's close family members have some key post or the other, it's only a matter of time before she is given an important position.
It may be recalled that KTR, KCR's son, is the party's working president, while nephew Harish Rao is a key minister handling the finance portfolio. Another nephew Santosh Kumar is a Rajya Sabha MP, while B Vinod is the chief of the state planning commission. By this count, Kavitha too would get a plum post, said a diehard supporter of Kavitha Kalwakuntla.
Kavitha, who was defeated fair and square in the Lok Sabha elections by firebrand BJP gun Dharmapuri Aravind, has been in the wilderness for over two years. She was not active even in Telangana Jagruthi, her brainchild. But, now that she is set to get elected to the Legislative council from the Local Bodies constituency of Nizamabad, she may be rewarded with a key post. Sources close to her say that she could be given a key corporation post if not a ministry.
