Tamil Nadu CM Palanisamy has given a representation to PM Narendra Modi objecting the privatization of Salem Steel Plant which is in losses. Quoting it as an example, Pawan Kalyan commented, 'If Tamilnadu Leaders could stand by their people for a similar issue there and I wonder! What prevents the AP leaders to do the same'.
Jana Sena Chief appealed AP MPs to give a representation to Narendra Modi not to privatize the profit-making Dredging Corporation of India (DCI). 'DCI privatization might look trivial to Centre but who knows how things could turn after haphazard bifurcation & denial of special category status,' he cautioned.
Pawan Kalyan believes the time has come to put an end to Personal & Party-centric Politics. 'We have to bring back the accountability in Politics and if not..the younger & future generations will pay a hefty price irrespective of caste, creed, region & religion,' he opined.
The Actor-turned-Politician targeted Centre just a day after Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Poll results were announced. This is a clear sign of widening gap between Jana Sena & BJP.
