What Vijayashanti Spoke About Her Husband?

Vijayashanti enjoyed stardom on par with the male stars of Telugu Cinema in the late 80s and early 90s. She got married secretly so early and at the time when her career was at peaks. However, The Actress never spoke about her Husband or married life until recently. She had finally broken her silence in a recent interview.
The Firebrand recalled how she became alone after losing her Father at the age of 17 and Mother when she was 18. It was during the shoot of her career-defining film 'Karthavyam', She met Producer Srinivas Prasad who handled the production and love blossomed between them. They opted for registered marriage on March 29th, 1988. 'It's been 32 years...we are so happy together. We kept hearing about the hardships faced by lot of Heroines after marriage but I am lucky to have a good husband who is so simple,' she said.
Regarding lack of children, Vijayashanti told she decided not to have children after joining the Telangana Movement and floating political party to maintain focus. She claims to be treating the people of Telangana as her children instead of getting selfish by having her own children.
