Top BJP leader Amit Shah was in Telangana the other day. Various reasons made his visit stay in the news. First and foremost, Shah meeting Ramoji Rao and NTR on the same day gave birth to many speculations and theories. Then comes the disappointing act involving the chief of BJP for Telangana Bandi Sanjay.
When Amit Shah visited Telangana, Bandi Sanjay was caught carrying the chappals of the Union Home Minister. Needless to say, the video went viral and the ruling TRS launched an intense attack on the incident. The party asked waw it needed for Bandi to do so.
With the attack getting momentum, Bandi Sanjay addressed the issues and said that he is not feeling ashamed of carrying the chappals of Amit Shah. He wondered why people are giving focus on unwanted things like the issue involving him.
Calling Amit Shah his guru, Bandi Sanjay asked what was wrong with carrying the chappals of the guru. What's wrong with carrying the chappals of my guru? There is no need of relating the self-respect of Telangana with my act of carrying his chappals.
