What's Behind Atchen Naidu's Silence?

Ever since, he spent his time in the prison, the TDP strongman from North Andhra, Atchen Naidu has fallen completely silent. Not just that, he is not making any political move. He is keeping an unusually low profile. The party cadre and leaders who expected Atchen Naidu to go ballistic on the YSRCP are baffled by this strange silence.
Some strongly feel that Atchen Naidu is unnerved by the arrest and is upset that the party has not stood by him in the hour of need. He reportedly feels that the party has not taken up agitations and protests in the way it should have taken up and remained mute. This has upset him and he is now planning to recalibrate his moves. He feels that remaining silent till the cases last seems to be his strategy.
However, some other section of the party refutes this and argues that Atchen Naidu is a strong fighter and he can never be cowed down. They feel that Atchen Naidu will go ballistic once he is announced as the TDP AP president. "He is reserving all his fire power for the post-announcement period," said a party leader on condition of anonymity. But, neither Atchen Naidu nor his politically powerful family members are speaking out. His nephew K Rammohan Naidu is the MP from Srikalam and neice Bhavani is the MLA from Rajahmundry. Both are also keeping an unusually low profile these days.
