When Mamta Gets Down From Car, Rivals Simple Flee

That Mamta Didi is nothing less than a tigress, a wounded one at that if someone pokes her is only too well-known. She has given a glimpse of it recently. This time around she is battling a BJP surge. Modi and Shah have been turning the heat on like never before. There are reports that Mamta didi could face some reversals in the state.
On Saturday, as Mamta's convoy was passing through West Midnapore, some people shouted Jai Sriram apparently to poke her. Unexpectedly, the convoy screeched to a halt and the tigress came out of the vehicle. Seeing her, the crowd began running helter skelter. Mamta yelled at them saying "why are you running away. Face me if you have guts." Needless to say, the crowd did not dare to face her. Such is Mamta's power.
She then said: Wait till the results are own. Then I will show what I am." Then she had packed another punch when she said: "Remember you will have to be here only even after elections."
Mamta's cadre have been particularly violent towards political opponents. Given Didi's threats, the villagers indeed have a reason to fear.
