When Pawan Kalyan turns a Hindutwa activist

Why is Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, who fancied himself to be a Che Guevera, is suddenly singing the Hindutwa tune? Shedding his secular tunic, he raised his voice against the rampant Christian conversion activity. He also pointed out that conversion activity was going on right next to the CM's residence. On Wednesday, he made a pilgrimage to Tirumala and prove his Hindutwa credentials.
Then he has also said that he was never away from the BJP. The only point of contention was the special status to the state. This is a significant pointer that he is yearning for an alliance with the BJP in AP to fight YS Jagan. There are lingering doubts that he is being used by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to send an SoS to the BJP. What Pawan is offering to the BJP is a package deal, which includes even Chandrababu Naidu.
Recently, the TDP MPs met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi. Though the meeting was set up ostensibly to thank him for putting out maps showing Amaravati in the country's official map, the real topic of discussion was YSRCP's dominance in AP politics. The TDP MPs reportedly sought the help of the BJP in fighting YS Jagan. What Amit Shah said is not known, but ever since the meeting, the TDP and the Jana Sena have suddenly taken up Hindutwa causes.
