When Superstar did not receive a pay cheque?

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and legendary actor Kamal Haasan has earlier teamed up for the film 'Hey Ram' which is based on Mahatma Gandhi's assasination. King Khan played a special role in this controversial movie upon the request of Kamal but hasn't received any pay check in return.
While speaking at a recent event, Kamal revealed he have a due to pay to Shahrukh Khan stressing about not giving any remuneration for acting in his film. "It's really amazing that an actor of his stature working in a film without charging any remuneration. Even Shahukh didn't ask about his pay cheque till date. That shows the kind of passion he has for cinema. Neverthless, a due is a due and I would like to settle it," opined the versatile actor.
Good to know, Both Kamal and Shahrukh have high regard for each other. Reading between the lines, we could expect another film from this deadly combo. Most probably, Kamal will be more than happy to play a cameo in SRK's film without taking any pay package.
