Where Are All The MIM Corporators?

While the ruling TRS is moving heaven and earth to retain the mayor's post in the GHMC, its political partner MIM is sitting smug. Though the election of mayor is slated for Thursday, most MIM corporators are out of station even as late as Wednesday morning.
Most MIM leaders are now busy either in West Bengal or in Ahmedabad, where there are elections. The MIM has big ideas for both these places and wants to make a splash. It wants to win as many seats as possible and expand to new areas. The MIM corporators are camping there and are likely to reach Hyderabad only on Thursday morning. As of now there is no instructions to them from party boss Asaduddin Owaisi.
Sources say that the MIM might abstain from the voting and allow the TRS to win the mayoral post. The TRS can have an easy sail through with the help of the ex-officio members. It is for this reason that Asaduddin Owaisi has asked his corporators to go to either West Bengal or Gujarat. We will know MIM's strategy only on Thursday morning.
