Where Have All The BJP Stars Disappeared?

Where are all those stars? Where are all those filmi personalities who added colour and glitz to the saffron party? This is the question that is being asked very often in the BJP. Neither the party organization nor the stars themselves seem to have any plausible answer for this question.
At the time of the assembly elections in 2018 and the Lok Sabha elections last year, a host of film stars had joined the BJP amid much fanfare. Tollywood lass Reshma Rathod had contested the election on the party ticket from north Telangana, while actress Jayaprada contested from Rampur Lok Sabha seat in UP. Similarly, Babu Mohan was brought into contest from Andhole. Similarly, yester year actresses Kavitha and Madhavi Lath too had joined the BJP. But, soon after the elections, all these stars have simply disappeared from the party skyline. Nobody talks about them and even the film personalities themselves seem to have become quite inactive.
Many in the party wonder whether these actors and actresses are worth courting. None of them have any appeal and cannot win votes on their own. Reshma and Babu Mohan have lost their security deposits, while Jayaprada failed to make a mark in Rampur, which she had represented twice in the past.
