Where Is AP PCC chief Shailaja Nath?

He was till a five years ago one of the most powerful leaders in the Congress Party. He had worked as the Government chief whip and played a key role in the Samaikyandhra movement. But, today, he is silent – neither seen, not heard and most importantly, not even being felt.
The once firebrand leader is now the Congress president for Andhra Pradesh. But, he is not stirring out of his home. He is not even issuing a statement. After he took over from Raghuveera Reddy, Shailaja Nath has not made any attempt to revive the party. He has not toured the state to motivate the party workers.
Ever since the state was divided into two, the Congress Party has lost its sheen. In fact, the people have rejected it outright. The party could not win even a single seat. The then PCC chief Raghuveera Reddy to lost his security deposit in the elections. Now that he has quit the post and handed the baton to Shailaja Nath, one expected that he would do something or the other for the party. But, he too is remaining silent. He has not done anything for the party. More importantly, even his presence is not being felt.
