This party is known for its protests and agitations. At the drop of the hat, the party leaders spill onto the streets and stage protests. But, of late, the party has gone into complete hibernation. No activity whatsoever. of street protests.
For over the last one year, the party has literally been sleeping with no major protest programmes or even key meetings. The party leaders, it appears, have quarantined themselves even before the Corona struck the world. None of the leaders â be it national leader Raghavulu or be it local state unit secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram â are active. Sources say Tammineni has been keeping an unusually low profile ever since the huge debacle that the party had faced after the 2019 elections.
Sources say the party Central leadership took a very serious view of the Telangana CPM's decision to forge a Bahujan Left Front. This was an ideologically bankrupt idea, the party felt and severely reprimanded him. To add to his woes, the idea of launching aTV channel for the party and selling it off also has given huge negative publicity. All these reasons have made him to go silent.
