For actor-politician and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, 2024 elections would be a make-or-break moment. This election would decide his future. His party is already eight years old and has till now remained only at the fringes. If it fails to make a mark in 2024, the party, as the political pundits say, is as good as dead.

But, the biggest question is where will Pawan Kalyan contest from. In 2014, he did not contest the election and merely supported the TDP. In the 2019 election, he contested from two seats and lost both. So, where will he contest from in the 2024 elections? If sources within the Jana Sena are to be believed, a scouting is on for a safe seat for Pawan Kalyan.

In 2014, he contested from both Gajuwaka in Visakhapatnam and Bhimavaram in West Godavari. He lost both the seats. In 2024, will he contest from any of these two seats or both? As of now, the party sources have no answers. Meanwhile, sources say that two more seats are under consideration.

Pithapuram in East Godavari, with its huge Kapu population, is considered a safe seat for Pawan Kalyan. The constituency has always returned a Kapu and could be a safe bet for him. Party insiders say that Tirupati seat in Rayalaseema is also being considered. Tirupati too has a huge chunk of Balija votes.

In fact, it was Tirupati that helped Chiranjeevi win the election when he formed the Praja Rajyam Party. In fact, Chiru had lost from Palacole, a known Kapu stronghold. So, where will Pawan Kalyan contest the elections from – Tirupati or Pithapuram or Gajuwaka or Bhimavaram?
