In a much relief to India, the World Health Organisation(WHO) which earlier said that community transmission of the novel coronavirus has started in India gave a clarification and added that cluster cases were reported there.

The WHO went on to say that an error occurred in its situation report on the spread of the coronavirus in the countries as India has only a cluster of cases and not community transmission.

WHO defines community transmission as when countries experience a large number of cases not linked to transmission chains and multiple unrelated clusters in several areas.

WHO added that they can't say that India is not in trouble with this and the safety measures like continuing the lockdown and social distancing might help India in getting the condition under control.

India has 6,412 cases of coronavirus, including 199 deaths. Thirty-three deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours.
