WHO Sings The Same Tune On The Effectiveness Of New Covid-19 Strain!

The new strain of Coronavirus discovered in the United Kingdom recently has left the world in a state of shock. Following this, many nations have suspended teh through and fro flight services to the UK.
During the tough times, the global health body World Health Organisation(WHO) in its latest statement said that the new strain is not out of control and the new strain can be contained with the existing measures.
Addressing the media over the situation, WHO's Emergencies Programme Director Michael Ryan said that we had a higher contamination rate of the pandemic at different points and the situation is under control.
Referring to the emergence of the new strain, Michael Ryan said that, this is an indication that we should work hard.
His statements came days after, WHO's Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan gave shocking statements that the new strain of the Coronavirus might be present in many countries already.
The health authorities have identified the new strain of Coronavirus in mid-September this year in London and Kent. The scientists have named teh new strain VUI.
With the new strain getting very dominant, the UK authorities have imposed a strict lockdown and even imposed restrictions on Christmas celebrations too.
