Who Is Blocking Ganta's Entry Into YSRCP?

Former minister and fair-weather politician Ganta Srinivasa Rao is desperately trying to some how or the other join the YSRCP. Despite opposition from various quarters within the YSRCP, he is moving heaven and earth to somehow find an entry into the party.
However, YS Jagan has always insisted that Ganta resign his MLA post first and them get reelected to the assembly to join the party. There is also another condition that is imposed by some leaders of the YSCP. As per this, he has to resign his post as an MLA and help the YSRCP candidate win the election. In return he would be given the State Planning Board chairperson's post, which is a cabinet rank post. However, a section of the YSRCP is said to be staunchly opposed to his entry into the YSRCP. Sources say his one-time friend and current minister Avanti Srinivas is said to be opposed to his entry into the party.
There are several questions about some of the deals his ministry had entered during the TDP rule and some sections feel that he should first clear himself of all these allegations. Only then can he enter the YSRCP, they argue. Both Avanti Srinivas and Vijaysai Reddy are said to hold this opinion.
