The WHO said that alcohol consumption results in domestic violence, fights, indulging in quarrels, and the mental health getting degrading. The cases of domestic violence increased rapidly worldwide as most of the people are staying at home due to lockdown imposed in many nations.
The WHO went on to say that alcohol reduces the immunity power which makes them very vulnerable to the dreaded virus. Till now many nations have banned the consumption of alcohol.
In India, many people have the habit of drinking which makes them unable to bear the situation. As a result, some people are buying alcohol in grey markets while some of them are preparing alcohol at home.
