What is behind Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's sudden pro-Hindu turn? He has come out strongly on the issue of the burning of the temple chariot of Antarvedi temple. Like never before, he has demanded action against those who have damaged the temple chariot and spoke in unusually strong words.
Sources say that this has got to do with the recent visit of Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay. After his election as the state BJP president, Bandi Sanjay had a tete-e-tete with Pawan Kalyan. He went over to Pawan's farmhouse and had a chat with him on various issues. A firebrand Hindu activist, who was attacked several times for his belief in Hindutwa, Sanjay reportedly listed out the injustice being meted out to the Hindus under the current dispensations.
According to sources, Pawan was very impressed. He then planned a Chaturmasam, a departure from his Che Guevera days. Of late, he has turned very religious also. As someone from West Godavari, Pawan has special affinity to Antarvedi temple. But, it is the meeting with Sanjay that changed Pawan Kalyan.
