AP Bhavan ..Which is the symbol of Telugu Heritage and culture in Delhi. AP Bhavan stands as evidence for many historical events from past 20 years.Former chief minister NTR is having very emotional touch with this building as he prefer to stay here whenever he visited Delhi. It served as venue for deciding the PM candidate for United Front Governments of 1996 & 1997.
Andhra Pradesh Bhavan is established with the main objective of providing accommodation to the Government Officials and others visiting New Delhi from Andhra Pradesh.Promotion of awareness about Andhra PradeshÂ’s development is also an important role.
But now the time arrived for sharing the historical building and now the question arises is for whom it needs to allocate. Sources say that AP Bhavan is going to Handedover by central government once state had divided officially.
If it happens as Telugus we will definitely lost the historical venue which helped us on different critical scenarios. Need to mention here AP bhavan provided shelter for many telugu victims of uttharakhand floods apart from Telangana or Seemandhra.
