Airlines Bidding Goodbye To Vizag! Why?

Alliance Air, which is a subsidiary of Air India, had to cancel its services to Visakha after TDP Government failed to clear arrears of Rs 23 crore under Regional Connectivity Scheme.
Sri Lankan-based Airlines operating flights to Visakha and Tirupati cancelled it's services after Previous Government hasn't responded on the request to bear 10 percent of the charges.
IndiGo Airline suspended its services between Vizag-Bangalore, Vizag-Kochi and Vizag-Kolkata.
One of the major reasons behind the recent trend is the failure of TDP Government in honouring it's commitments made to the Airlines. Due to the negligence of State Government, Airlines had been going in search of alternatives and offering services in the busiest routes.
