Why are KCRs anti-BJP front plans failing to take off?

Are KCR's plans to forge a non-BJP front of regional parties ending up as a pipedream? Are his attempts turning out to be non-starters? It appears KCR's third front of federal front plans are not simply taking off. Despite his efforts, nothing seems to be happening on the issue of forming an alliance of non-BJP, non-Congress alliance.

In fact, KCR had sent a special plane to bring in RJD leader and son of Laloo Prasad Yadav Tejaswi Yadav to Hyderabad. They were closeted for over two hours. But, Tejaswi Yadav left Hyderabad without committing himself to any of KCR's proposals. In fact, sources say that he was strictly told by Laloo Prasad not to give away anything. So, Tejaswi did not make any commitment.

KCR's earlier attempts to rope in Devegowda and MK Stalin too ended up yielding nothing. Stalin has in fact categorically said that his meeting with KCR was a mere courtesy call and nothing more should be read into the meeting. This again was a huge disappointment for KCR, who was planning to emerge as the lynchpin of anti-BJP alliance.

Political watchers say that one of the main reasons for the regional parties not trusting KCR is his fickleness. In 2019, he talked about the federal front and then suddenly did a somersault to support the NDA in Rajya Sabha. In fact, KCR's support was crucial in getting farm bills and Jammu Kashmir bills passed in Rajya Sabha. Hence, Laloo is said to have told Tejaswi Yadav to be wary of KCR.
