Why Are Sujana, TG, CM Ramesh Upset?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Feb 2020 4:11 AM GMTAre TDP-turned-BJP MPs Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh and TG Venkatesh unhappy in the BJP? Are they sore at the party completely ignoring them while taking decisions about AP? Are they unhappy that the party is not consulting them on any issue?
It appears so. All the three MPs had skipped a crucial strategy meeting of the BJP in Vijayawada recently. The meeting had Kanna Lakshminarayana, GVL Narasimha Rao and Purandeswari playing crucial roles, but the three MPs were nowhere to be seen. Many in the BJP feel that these three MPs are actually doing Chandrababu Naidu's bidding within the TDP. They are been seen as the 'advance' party of Chandrababu. On many issues, they adopted a pro-Chandrababu stance even while being in the BJP. Especially on the three-capitals issue, Sujana Chowdary vehemently backed the TDP stir. This too seems to have upset the party. Realising that they do not have any weightage in the party, they appeared to have skipped the meeting.
The crucial meeting was mainly focused on the upcoming local elections where the BJP is going ahead in alliance with the Jana Sena Party. The absence of these leaders was said to be discussed in the meeting.
