Why are Telanganaites opposing this TRS MLA?

He is one of the 15 MLAs who won on the TDP ticket. But, soon after winning, he began looking towards the TRS. The TRS too wooed him. So, the MLA on one fine morning, he joined the TRS. Yes... we are talking about Madhavaram Krishna Rao, who is the MLA from Andhra- dominated Kukatpally assembly constituency. He did not have any history of pro-Telangana struggles. Nor did he participate in any TRS protest. In fact, he used to oppose the Telangana movement and was always seen as a diehard Andhra backer. But, today he finds himself in the TRS.
With KCR renominating him for the Kukatpally seat, he is now pulling all stops to win the seat again. But, the original TRS workers, who worked hard, braved lathis and staged protests all these years are angry. They have decided not to work for him. P Narsing Rao, who actually formed the party unit in Kukatpally and has always been active in protests organized a meeting of over 500 supporters at Devi Grand Hotel in Musapet on Monday night to decide future course of action. He said that while he built the TRS brick by brick in Kukatpally, a man who had never said Jai Telangana all his life, is enjoying power and pelf as a TRS MLA. It is sad that such a person has been nominated by the TRS bosses, he rued and said he would oppose Madhavaram Krishna Rao tooth and nail.
Meanwhile, trouble for Madhavaram Krishna Rao are mounting. His close relative Gottimukkala Padma Rao too is strongly opposing his candidature. He has already launched a campaign in the constitutency against Madhavaram. He says that all these years, it was he who had kept in touch with the people and the Madhavaram never bothered about Kukatpally. He is now determined to teach a lesson to Madhavaram at the hustings.
