Why Chandrababu's BC Card Failed To Save Atchen Naidu?

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's stratagem of using the BC card to attack the YSRCP on the issue of party biggie Atchen Naidu sure has backfired. The attempt clearly has failed and has not enthused the BCs one bit. What more? The BCs are asking has to where has his love for BCs gone when YSRCP’s Mopidevi Venkataramana, also a BC, was arrested. As expected, Chandrababu has no answer.
So the BC card failed. The point is that can corruption have a caste tag? Is corruption by a Brahmin or Kamma or Reddy more dangerous than the corruption of a Dalit or a BC? Or are the punishments going to be different for different castes? How can arresting a person accused in a corruption scam be treated as caste atrocity or oppression? Even in his own district, Atchen Naide seems to be getting no support at all. After JC Prabhakar Reddy's arrest, will Chandrababu say that the YSRCP is targeting Reddys? More importantly, the TDP has so far not categorically said that there was no corruption in the ESI procurement. This is nothing but an indirect admission that even Chandrababu knows that there is corruption in the ESI procurement.
Meanwhile, there is fear and apprehension in the TDP as to who would be arrested next. Already three of its leaders have been arrested and if Vijay Sai Reddy's latest tweet is any indication, this is only the beginning and many more could follow.
