Why Come To Amaravati For Online Meet?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Oct 2020 3:37 AM GMTChandrababu Naidu, who has fast earned the tag of absentee politician, has visited Andhra Pradesh after a long gap of three months. Chandrababu Naidu, who did not visit the state during the damage to Hindu deities' statues and other major crises, reached his Undavalli residence on Wednesday night.
The reason? He would participate in a meeting that would be organised to mark the 300th day of the agitation in Amaravati against the shifting of the administrative capital to Vizag. Interestingly, he would address the meeting online and would not meet any of the protesters. 'Why should he travel all the way just to attend a meeting online, when he can very well do that while being in Hyderabad,' quipped a TDP functionary.
The last time Chandrababu Naidu visited Andhra Pradesh was three months ago. In June, he came to Undavalli to protest the arrest of his ministerial colleague and TDP leader Atchen Naidu in connection with the infamous ESI scam.
This is Chandrababu's only third visit to Andhra Pradesh after the outbreak of Corona. At this rate, he would soon go down in the history of India as the absentee politician, who stays in one state and seeks votes in another state.
