Has the countdown begun for the TRS government in Telangana? Will there be agitations galore against KCR in the times to come? Will there be large scale defections and rebellions from within that will devastate the TRS government? Will thee be cases galore and repeated IT and ED raids on key TRS personalities very soon?
Yes, say those in the know. The BJP is now said to be planning the three-pronged strategy against KCR and that the plan of action would be unveiled once the results of the two states are out. The party feels that this is the right time to strike at KCR and his party in Telangana as its popularity is plummeting by each passing day. The prolonged RTC strike has made his very unpopular and even his diehard supporters are unhappy at his handling of the issue. His high-handed attitude and approach are also being criticised widely. The BJP wants to cash in on this and launch a spate of agitation against the TRS government.
Secondly, there would be simultaneous raids on several TRS functionaries and the business houses that are backing KCR government to probe into their financial dealing. The BJP national leadership is said to be convinced that there is massive corruption in various irrigation and other construction projects. Agencies like the IT and the ED are ready with several proofs of these dealings. Also, the BJP is already in touch with several key dissidents within the TRS.
