Why Didn't Prakash Raj Join Any Party?

Prakash Raj announced his foray into politics on New Year even by disclosing he would contest from Bengaluru Central Parliament Constituency as an Independent. He is already touring the Lok Sabha Segment for knowing about the issues at the grassroots level and prepare #CitizensManifesto.
People wondered why Prakash Raj didn't prefer joining any of the major political parties. They feel he could have won as an MP easily with the solid vote bank of the party had if he done so.
Actually, Prakash Raj kept voicing his opinion against NDA Government since the murder of Journalist Gauri Lankesh. So, Any chances of joining BJP has been completely ruled out. The Actor says he can't even join any other party including Congress why because he mayn't last there for more than 3 months due to his straight forward nature.
Generally, Public Representatives follow the stand taken by their parties instead of working according to people's aspirations at times. Such system doesn't work in the case of Prakash Raj who has forayed into politics only to serve the people.
