Why did Rapthadu MLA make those sensational comments?

Rapthadu MLA Topudurthi Prakash Reddy has made sensational allegations against the TDP. He said that the TDP was plotting to assassinate YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and then come to power. His comments are now raking up a controversy in Andhra Pradesh.
The comments assume significance in the wake of the recent statement by a TRS leader from Khammam, identified as Malladi Vasu, that he would give a supari of Rs 50 lakh if someone assassinates Minister Kodali Nani, MLAs Ambati Rambabu and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Though he has later apologized for his remarks, there are several concerns over the safety of several YSRCP leaders. Now Topudurthi has expressed apprehensions about YS Jaganâs safety.
He said that Malladi Vasu is only a front and that there were unseen forces behind him. He said these unseen forces were making him offer such huge amounts as supari. He also sought to know why neither Chandrababu Naidu nor Balakrishna criticize Malladi Vishnu so far.
He said the YSRCP would not sit silent if its leaders were targeted. He also said that Vallabhaneni Vamsi is not a YSRCP leader. He belongs to TDP and the YSRCP has not admitted even a single person from the TDP so far.
