Why did Rasamayi Balkishan say this?
By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Jan 2021 2:30 AM GMTThe recent loaded comments of Telangana activist, balladeer and Manakondur MLA Rasamayi Balkishan have stirred up a hornet's nest in Telangana politics. The MLA, known for his song and dance, has commented that the TRS was like a private limited company and that he was an mere employee in this corporate company.
Comparing the party to a corporate company or a private limited firm have sent the party bosses into a tizzy. Speaking at the memorial service of poet Jayaraj's mother recently, he said that the artistes and folk singers who were highly active during the Telangana movement, were now silent. 'The silence of the folk singers and artistes is not good for the society,' he commented.
Rasamayi Balkishan is said to be unhappy with the goings on in the party. He is said to be feeling left out in the TRS as he was denied a ministerial post. In the past too, he had raised his voice against the party leadership by joining hands with minister Etela Rajender. Sources said that the MLA is not in the good books of the top bosses. Hence he is said to have vented his frustration at the memorial service, which was organized by poet Jayaraj.
