Why did Sakshi ignore Vijaya Sai Reddy's tweet on Rahul Gandhi?

Is Vijay Sai Reddy's stock falling in the YSRCP and more so in the party organ that he nurtured â the Sakshi daily? It appears so. The Sakshi daily chose not to cover Vijay Sai Reddy's tweet on Rahul Gandhi's visit to pub in China. Vijaya Sai criticised Rahul Gandhi's partying with a controversial Chinese envoy to Nepal.
Interestingly, Eenadu gave considerable coverage to the tweet, but Sakshi did not cover this. Vijaya Sai had said that Rahul Gandhi was with a Chinese envoy who is known for laying honeytraps. He further said that he is criticising Modi's Europe tour without setting his own house, the Congress Party, in order.
But why did Sakshi not give any coverage to the tweet? Sources say that the YSRCP felt that these comments were uncalled for. The party is now trying to adjust its sails according to the political winds. It is now believed to be in touch with both the BJP and the Congress. It would take a call at the right time. Given this, the party's thinking heads felt Vijaya Sai's comments were premature.
Even otherwise, Vijaya Sai Reddy's coverage has come down in Sakshi. However, Vijaya Sai for long was one of the directors of the Sakshi and played a key role in its growth. Sources say, even his getting renominated to Rajya Sabha is in jeopardy now.
