Why everyone is thanking this 92-year-old?
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Nov 2019 7:49 AM GMTHe is 92. Frail in health, but steely in resolve. He is Parasaran, the 92-year-old advocate who argued the Ayodhya case for the Ramlala Virajman. Parasaran spent sleepless nights for years to argue the case on behalf of Lord Ram. Considering his age, the judges asked him to sit and argue. But, Parasaran chose to stand and argue. Such was his dedication to the case he has taken up.
On Saturday soon after the Supreme court pronounced the verdict on the case in favour of the Lord Ramlala Virajman, there was a flurry of visitors to Parasaran's home. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and his deputy - sarkaryavah (secretary general) Bhaiyaji Joshi personally went over to Parasaran's house and thanked him for the services. Already severalsenior advocates and retired top legal heads were there to congratulate Parasaran. Several leaders of Hindu mutts and organisations also congratulated him for his unique achievement.
Parasaran took a fee of Re 1 for fighting the case. He led the team of advocates to argue the case. The 92 year-old legal luminary has set an example by following the highest standards of professionalism.
