Why Ganta Srinivas Rao skipped Chandrababu's Vizag Programme?

One thing that got noted very prominently during the Chandrababu drama in Vizag, is the complete absence of party MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao. Ganta, considered highly influential, was not to be seen in any of Chandrababu Naidu's outings.
While other party MLAs like Vasupalli Ganesh, Gana Babu and Velagapudi Ramakrishna were there to accord a welcome to Chandrababu, Ganta was absent. The police prevented the MLAs from according a grand reception to Chandrababu. Even then, Ganta was not stirred into action. Later, the cops arrested Chandrababu Naidu and shifted him to the airport for sending him back to Vijayawada. Even then,Ganta was not seen in action. What more? Everyone from party state president Kala Venkata Rao to Varla Ramaiah issued statement after statement to condemn Chandrababu's arrest, Ganta Srinivasa Rao did not bother to open up.
Ganta's absence and inaction rankled the TDP leadership to no end. But, they decided not to aggravate the situation further and kept silent. Ganta's absence is being seen as a significant pointed amid rumours that he was planning to resign from the TDP and join some other party.
