Why Harikrishna Floated Anna TDP?

Nandamuri Harikrishna faced many insults in Telugu Desam, the party floated by his Father NT Rama Rao. There was a perception among people that Chandrababu Naidu has applied use & throw policy in his case as well.
Most of the Nandamuri Family including Harikrishna supported Chandrababu Naidu when NTR was dethroned. Harikrishna was inducted into the TDP Cabinet as Transport Minister. He, however, had to resign within 6 months as he wasn't an MLA by then. He won contesting from Hindupur in 1996.
Harikrishna faced insult even during the time he was made Telugu Yuvatha State President. He revolted against Chandrababu Naidu and floated 'Anna TDP' on January 26th, 1999 along with his brother-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao. He converted his hotel 'Ahwanam' in Abids into party office. Not even a single seat was bagged by Anna TDP in 1999 polls. Harikrishna came back to TDP after several years. He was offered Rajya Sabha in 2008 but TDP Leadership denied him second consecutive term. Friction with TDP Leadership continued till 2014 ever since Harikrishna opposed Nara Lokesh's elevation. Though he was a politburo member, There isn't much importance for Harikrishna in the Telugu Desam Party.
