Why Harish touched Chandramma feet?

The TRS leaders paid floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Telangana movement.Party legislators Harish Rao and Etela Rajender visited Moinabad, Ranga Reddy district to offer tributes for Telangana martyr Yadi Reddy, who self-immolated in New Delhi.
“New Delhi leaders opened their eyes with deaths of Yadi Reddy and Srikantha Chari.We will support the families of all our martyrs .It is the result of sacrifice of the Telangana martyrs. It is a real tribute to hundreds of Telangana martyrs who had laid down their lives for achieving Statehood to the region” Harish said.
‘’The victory is dedicated to the martyrs of Telangana. The people of the region have finally liberated from the cruel rule of Seemandhra people” He further opined
He touched the feet of Chandramma, mother of Yadi Reddy for blessings and handed over 1 lakh rupees draft. Later they met family members of Mahesh, Yadaiah, Bhojya Naik who died in Telangana agitation.
Recognition given for these martyrs by political leaders is in fact a kind gesture
