Yes. For the politicians social media is the biggest weapon. The situation has come to such a pass that a highly attractive, hugely popular woman member of the zilla parishad became the target of abusive posts. Posts and clippings that sought to show her in poor light have flooded the Whatsapp groups in Ramagundam. The woman politico was so upset that she had to lodge a complaint with the police. Another prominent politician too had approached police after sleazy contest was posted about him.
