Why is Bhumana Karunakar Reddy sidelined in Tirupati?

Has Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy lost Chief Minister YS Jagan's confidence? This is the question that is being asked in the political circles of Chittoor district.
Neither was Bhumana made a minister, nor was he given any other alternative post so as to rehabilitate him. Questions are being raised as to why Jagan appointed Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, who is from the Chandragiri constituency, as the Tirupati Urban Development Authority chairperson when Karunakar Reddy is there.
Of course, Chandragiri is part of the TUDA and thus there is nothing technically that prevents anyone from Chandragiri to become TUDA chief. But, till now, the TUDA chief's post has gone only to those from Tirupati. But, Jagan made Chevireddy the TUDA chief and gave him another extension for two years to compensate him for not being made a minister.
Bhumana too is quite active in district politics and has developed an effective voter outreach. He has been working hard to implement all the party programmes. His son Abhinay Reddy is the deputy mayor of Tirupati Municipal corporation. Still, Jagan chose Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy over Bhumana Karunakar Reddy. It is because of this that questions are being raised as to why Bhumana is sidelined.
Political watchers say that by virtue of being the TUDA chief, Chevireddy will automatically be a member of the TTD board. Thus, his influence and activity in Tirupati is bound to go up. This is likely to challenge the dominance of Bhumana Karunakar Reddy's family. Bhumana's supporters are wondering why Bhumana is being sidelined.
