Why is Gorantla unhappy these days?

Is senior TDP leader and many-time MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary unhappy in the TDP? Is he upset with the way the party is going? Is he unhappy at being sidelined in the party despite long years of service to the party? Is he expressing his unhappiness before his close confidants and old-timers in the party?
Gorantla, who was associated with the TDP even before its inception and has been a close supporter of NTR, is active on social media even at this age. He is taking to social media on a regular basis to take on the acts of omission and commission of the ruling YSRCP. But, those close to Chowdary say that he is disillusioned with the way the party is ignoring him.
He feels that the party is considering him too old and is not giving the importance that he deserves. Whenever any reshuffling in the organisation is taken up, he is not being considered for any key post. While it is okay to encourage youth in the party, it is also important to give adequate importance to the seniors, feels Gorantla. Gorantla's son is a very busy doctor and has little interest in politics. So, there is no question of bringing him into politics. So, the party top brass feel that seniors like Gorantla would be misfits in a team that Lokesh is likely to lead.
Despite the differences, Gorantla is unlikely to leave the party. He is a very dedicated TDP worker and has given his energies and resources for the party. So, there is no question of leaving the party. But, at the same time, his disenchantment with the party's leadership too is a hard reality.
