Why is Jana Sena unhappy with BJP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Aug 2021 4:37 AM GMTWhat signal does a meeting of two political rivals send? And what if this meeting takes place amidst a party's political campaign? The Jana Sena leaders are said to be raising the same question over the meeting of Union Minister G Kishan Reddy with AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. More importantly, this was no official visit. Kishan Reddy took time out of his Jana Asheervad Yatra, a cent per cent party programme, and met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Significantly, the meeting came at a time when both the AP BJP and Jana Sena are highly critical of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Jana Sena has been strongly criticizing Jagan's rule. It has raised issues like sand quarrying, reduction of white ration cards and the three capitals issue. At such a time, why should Kishan Reddy meet the YSRCP supremo? The Jana Sena is of the opinion that Kishan Reddy's actions will sent wrong signals.
The leaders of the Jana Sena are also unhappy that they were not consulted about Kishan Reddy's meet with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was never discussed in any forum. The Jana Sena is now thinking of taking up this issue with the national leaders of the BJP. The Jana Sena leaders are said to have raised this issue with Nadendla Manohar, who too expressed his dissatisfaction with the developments.
