Why is Justice Kanagaraj No Appointed As SEC?

Some people just pop up due to political exigencies and simply disappear once their part is over. Justice Kaganagraj is one such person, who dawned on to the scene due to some political exigency and went off the radar as fast once his need ended.
Now, want to know who this Justice Kanagaraj is? He was a judge in Tamil Nadu, who was flown down to Amaravati to be sworn in as the state election commissioner in April 2020. He was brought in after the state government brought an ordinance limiting the tenure of the State Election Commissioner from five years to two years. This was aimed at sending away sitting SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, who was a thorn in YSRCP's flesh. Justice Kanagaraj was provided with a bunglow and the support staff too. But, the AP High Court did not uphold the government action and Ramesh Kumar was reinstated. Since then, Kanagaraj simply disappeared from the scene.
Now that Nimmagadda's tenure is coming to an end on March 30, 2021 and a new SEC has to be appointed. Interestingly, the chief minister has forwarded the names of Nilam Sahwney and Premachandra Reddy, both retired IAS officers. Everyone knows that YS Jagan is in favour of Neelam Sahwney. But, interestingly, no one is talking about Kanagaraj By the way, where is he? Why is he not in the reckoning??
