Know what Telangana CM KCR is doing these days? If sources are to be believed, he is studying the Andhra Pradesh model of governance. He is trying to understand the slew of welfare schemes that YS Jagan has put in place and is successfully implementing. What is making Jagan so popular and why the TRS has lost the plot, this is being deeply studied these days.
If sources are to be believed, KCR is said to be very impressed by the welfare and developmental schemes unveiled by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy despite the fund crunch. The schemes are not only successfully implemented, but the public perception of YS Jagan too is very positive. KCR is said to be studying the implementation of Navaratnalu scheme.
KCR is also said to have realized that many of the promises that helped him come to power in 2014 such as the reduction of pensionable age, unemployment allowance and provision of Rs 5 lakh for those having land to construct a house have not been implemented. To add to these, the failure to construct and hand over 2 bedroom houses is also hitting the TRS very hard. At the same time, the schemes are being successfully implemented in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh which is suffering fund crunch. What more? Jagan is being seen as an honest doer, while KCR is seen as a glib talker.
Also, the handling of corona in both the Telugu states is a picture in contrast. While AP has won everyone's praise, the Telangana has shown itself as a failure. So, KCR is said to be studying the Jagan model of governance and is trying pick some good points for implementation.
