Why are poll spin doctor Prashant Kishore and West Bengalâs fiery CM Mamta Banerjee coming together? Well! Mamta didi is rattled by the BJP's massive victories in West Bengal and is afraid that if the same trend continues till 2021, she might as well lose the Assembly elections. So, she wanted to you the services of Prashant Kishore, who just handed over a handsome victory to YS Jagan in AP.
But, Prashant Kishore is the vice-president of the Janata Dal United, led by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Bihar is going to polls early next year. Why is Prashant Kishore not focusing on Bihar elections, which come early and is ready to work for West Bengal elections, which are a good two years away? In fact, he had said in the past that he would not longer work in poll management and poll strategy work as he has to focus on his own party - the JDU. So, why this change of heart?

He is unable to effect the changes that he has managed to get done in YSRCP. He is frustrated at the goings on in the JDU and has decided to keep himself off. So, he has decided to take up Mamta Didi's offer and work for her in West Bengal.
