Why Is Ram Madhav Smiling?

BJP general secretary Ram Madhav must be a very happy man. As the incharge of the North Telangana for the party, he had been working hard for the last year-and-a-half planning, strategising and execution. This has paid rich dividends. Soyam Bapuram, the Gond tribal leader, who hopped from TRS to Congress to TDP, was his pick. Similarly, Ram Madhav groomed Dharmapuri Srinivas, the giant killer who badly mauled TRS chief KCR's daughter Kavitha Kalwakuntla, was groomed by Ram Madhav.
He personally tutored him and synergised his campaign in a coordinated manner. Similarly, it was at his instance that Bandi Sanjay , the Karimnagar BJP candidate, who defeated KCR's close relative Vinod, was given the party ticket. In fact, a powerful section within the BJP had lobbied hard to ensure that he does not get the ticket. But, at the end, Ram Madhav's intervention helped him get the ticket.
Ram Madhav also had a stellar role in DK Aruna joining the BJP. He got sulking TRS MP AP Jitender Reddy on board and made him work for her. Thus, though defeated, she has managed to get considerable number of votes and stayed in the reckoning till the last.
