Why is Sharmila silent on Munugode bypolls?

YS Sharmila and her YSRTP are not just continuing with their padayatra, but also are flinging accusation after accusation against the TRS and even Revanth Reddy. It is another matter that none of the major political parties are even recognizing her existence. No one is commenting on or criticizing her and are ignoring her.
But one wonders why YS Sharmila, who is otherwise so active and comments on practically everything and anything, is totally silent over Munugode. The assembly constituency will soon have a bypoll as sitting MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has resigned and is re-contesting as a BJP candidate. But, YS Sharmila has not made any comment on Munugode bypoll.
No one knows whether she will put up a candidate from her party or will she support any of the three major political parties that are in the fray. Everyone knows that elections are the lifeblood of any political party and they help the parties in reaching out to the people at large. It is an opportunity to explain to the people the party's stand to the people. But, the YSRTP is silent on whether it would contest the elections or not. Also, it is not extending support to any party that is in the fray.
It may be recalled that the party was neutral even during the Huzurabad bypolls. Neither did it contest nor did it extend its support to any political party. Thus, it was completely away from the limelight. It has also missed an opportunity to test its organizational and mobilizational strength. Why is the party silent on contesting the bypolls? Ironically, no one seems to have an answer for this query, including YS Sharmila herself.
