Why is Team PK delaying entry into AP

Why is the Team PK delaying the launch of its operations in Andhra Pradesh? This is the hottest topic of discussion among the political circles in Andhra Pradesh, especially among the YSRCP circles. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy himself has announced that the Team PK will start working from November. It is already 45 days that the deadline given by Jagan is over. The Team PK is yet to start its work.
Normally, Prashant Kishor begins the spade work at least two years before the actual elections. A host of surveys are done and analyses are made. Based on this, the Team PK works out the campaign stragety. But in AP, the team is yet to launch its works. Meanwhile, there are reports that Prashant Kishore is working for the TRS in the neighbouring Telangana.
Also, there is staunch opposition to the Team PK in Andhra Pradesh. The politicians, especially the sitting MLAs are afraid that the surveys would expose their shortcomings. There are reports that the popularity of most of the MLAs has touched the nadir. If team PK confirms these reports, the chances of getting the party tickets for 2024 elections is remote. Hence most of the sitting MLAs are opposing the entry of the PK.
The delay for them is thus a blessing in disguise. Insiders say that the Team PK is still undecided about the launch of works in Andhra Pradesh. Let’s wait and see how things pan out in Andhra Pradesh in general and the YSRCP in particular.
