Why is 'Thirty years industry' Pruthvi is disillusioned?

Remember actor-politician Pruthviraj? Better remembered as "thirty years industry", Pruthvi, it appears, is completely disillusioned with politics. Once considered a close camp follower of YS Jagan, he now says he is done with politics. He feels that there is so much backstabbing in politics that a 'simpleton' like him cannot survive.
Why is Pruthvi, who was very active in politics till recently, is feeling he had enough of politics and that he should move on? Though he is not naming anyone, it is clear that he is very bitter about the politicians of the ruling YSRCP.
Pruthvi, who mainly did comedy roles, fully backed the YSRCP and rooted for it when no film personality was touching the YSRCP even with a barge pole. He not only campaigned vigorously for the party, he even took on film industry biggies like Chiru and Pawan Kalyan . Though Jagan rewarded him with the post of SVBC chairperson, he could not remain in the post for long. He had to exit unceremoniously under controversial circumstances.
Since then, he feels he has not been rehabilitated properly. He lost films too. In a recent video he said that film industry was kinder towards him. He said despite his criticism of Chiru, the Megastar gave him a role in Syeraa. He now says that he is not suited for politics and that film industry was his last resort. He even said that he had learnt his lessons the hard way.
The video is going viral on the social media. Yet, no one from the YSRCP has even bothered to consult him. The actor's angst is now the talk of the tinsel world.
