Why Is This TDP Stalwart Inactive These Days?

Where is Maganti Babu? Why is he so inactive these days? A powerful politician from West Godavari and a TDP money bag, this film maker-cum-politician has suddenly gone inactive. He has not been attending TDP programmes of late. He has confined himself to his residence and has not even met the party workers in recent times.
Though the TDP is busy organising protests and other programmes against the ruling YSRCP, Maganti Babu has not been seen in any of the programmes. Unlike other senior TDP politicians, who are promoting their sons in politics, Maganti Babu is also not promoting his son Ramji in a big way. Ramji has joined the TDP, but is not very much active. Sources say that Maganti Babu wants Chandrababu Naidu to personally speak to him and request him to get active. Till that time, he would remain confined to his residence and would not be seen in any party programmes, a source close to Maganti Babu said.
As of now, there is no plan to leave the TDP, the source said. But with Maganti Babu being inactive, the TDP has become very weak in several parts of the West Godavari district.
