Why Is TRS Afraid Of This Politician

Telangana legislative council chairperson Gutta Sukhender Reddy is a disgruntled man. This man, who is known for being very active in public life, is now forced to lead a subdued life after he became the chairperson of the council. He is said to be missing his active public life.
Gutta, who is unhappy with the current position, is said to be trying to get a ministry and get active all over again. He is of the opinion that the speaker's position offers him no chance to express his opinions freely. Sources say that he has been telling his close followers that he would soon come back as a minister. As of now, there appears to be no possibility of that. Gutta is a worried man as most of those who officiated as speakers would either lose the election or would become inconsequential. Gutta does not want this either.
The TRS is said to be wary of his moves. It is also worried that Gutta is revealing few of the closely held secrets out to rivals. For instances, the TRS leadership feels that he was the one who has alerted BJP's lone MLA Ramachander Rao that the party is planning to put up Prof. K Nageshwar as a candidate for the graduate MLC post. He would be a proxy TRS candidate. This means Prof. Nageshwar will fight the elections as an independent and the TRS would transfer its votes to him. If he wins, the BJP will not have even a single member in the legislative council. The TRS leadership feels that it was Gutta who tipped off the BjP about this plan.
