Why KCR remained utterly silent as Modi attacked family rule?

On a day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Hyderabad, Chief Minister KCR totally avoided publicity. He did not issue a statement. Did not utter a word. Even after Modi left, there was no reaction from his side.
Not just KCR, but even his son KTR and daughter Kavitha Kalwakuntla were deafeningly silent. Nephew Harish Rao, who is also a minister and the party trouble shooter, just commented on the Twitter.
Why this silence? Earlier whenever Modi came, the TRS boss was ready with his replies and went ballistic against him. KTR, who issued statements till a day before Modi's arrival, remained totally silent. This silence even when Modi personally targeted family parties and dynastic rules was truly baffling.
This silence has reportedly created a disquiet in the party circles. But, party insiders say that KCR was glued to the TV sets and heard the PM speak. He sat through the whole speech, say sources. After the speech was over, he gave directions to his party leaders on how to rebut the issues raised by Narendra Modi.
If TRS sources are to be believed, KCR also looked at the turnout at the public meeting organized in the Parade Grounds. He observed points like the crowd response to Modi's speech, the composition of the crowd, the presence of the party cadres and the percentage of the general public who attended. However, it is his total silence that left everyone confused.
